After weeks of rehearsals and hard work at our Summer With Sherlock youth theater camp, our young thespians are ready to present a one-act play adaptation of one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most beloved adventures: Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Red-Headed League . . . Explained! Join us as these talented young performers bring Holmes, Watson, and an unforgettable cast of characters to life with imagination, humor, and heart.
Performances: Saturday, August 22 at 1 o’clock pm; Sunday, August 23 at 1 o’clock pm

Baker Street West proudly presents an original full-length play: Sherlock Holmes vs. Dracula: A Musical, written by John Lee and inspired by the immortal works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Bram Stoker. The year is 1894. After three long years, Sherlock Holmes has returned from his presumed watery grave at the Reichenbach Falls . . . only to confront a new and terrifying nemesis ~ Count Dracula! Will reason triumph over darkness? There is only one way to find out – Put this show your “spooky season” to-do list!
Performances: Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m.;  Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.

Baker Street West is rebuilding in the historic Amador County Courthouse in the city of Jackson, California, in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. Remodeling is currently underway on the second floor of this remarkable building to create the Victorian England setting of Sherlock Holmes’ era.

  • Baker Street West has many creative volunteers already working to reassemble the venue into its former glory; however, the costs of upgrading the new space to meet current building codes and accessibility requirements are daunting.
